At University Hospital Galway he takes care of traumatic cases involving fracture care and soft tissue injuries to the hand. At Merlin Park Hospital he undertakes joint replacement and elective procedures involving the hand, wrist and elbow. His private practice is undertaken in Bon Secours Hospital, Galway.
Mr O’Sullivan has been a Consultant Hand and Orthopaedic Surgeon in Galway since 1993. He graduated from University College Cork in 1979 with an honours medical degree. He undertook surgical training in Cork and Dublin. He undertook Fellowships in the Mayo Clinic (U.S.A.) and did a Hand Fellowship in the University of Utah in 1992.
